Hasn’t felt that long. This past weekend was really fun, went to Boston Saturday afternoon met up with Ian and Kyle skated the Allston lot that skateboarders made. Spots really sick, Kyle rented out a 16mm camera from his school and shot some film then Ian, Tom and Ben made a 6ft pole jam and they sessioned that for a bit, after that we went to a guard rail type place and they set up a trailer thing and launched over the fence. I’m going to post a bunch of pics that I have laying around, lately I haven’t shot much digi, a lot of medium format and black and white because I recently starting developing my own film so it’s fun. Nothing really serious but enjoy.
Dave Front Shuv, not landed
Smokes gap from the egg to ledge doing a Soul
Brian Long doing a Back Torque, really bummed about the flash glare
Find Ian, Kindgrind down the pole jam
Andy 270 Back Royale revert 450 out
Andy - Unity
Tom - Rocket 180, this thing was so hard to shoot because of all the fences and busy background
Today we have a guest bloggy… Mikey P! Here is What he has to say, and show.
“This weekend sure was a hoot. I heard Justin M and Julian D were heading up to Boston and decided to join last second. I can’t skate of course due to my injuries I just went to see my dogs and take Myspace pics. The original plan was Justin and myself sleep at Julians than leave Friday morning, we changed our minds. We left midnight on Thursday on route for Tim Kelly’s.
The distance from NJ to Cape Cod should be about 4.5 hours but with Justin’s dumbass driving it took 5. We arrived at Tims house at 5 in the morning and went to skate Mashpee spots. Which consisted of a speed bump and terrible skatepark. We headed to Boston soon after.
We skated some ledge spots until we got kicked out, by this time it was about 9 AM. All of us tired as hell, we finally ended up going to sleep in a park next to an aquarium for a few hours, this was after we saw some bitch smoking crack a few feet away. We finally get up and head back to the car to put our skates/bags stuff away and go get some food in Chinatown.
A little while later, Eric Woods comes and we go skate/bullshit around. Later, we meet up with Kevin Phan and go to the ledge where FNS just had ended, it was pretty fun. Finally, we get back to Kevin Phans tired and sleep deprived and pass out. We intended on skating the next day, but we didn’t wake up until 4ish, haha. We headed over to Ihop where Justin was a dick to our waiter, then we went to a ledge spot where I got some real artsy shit with my D300.
Tim left later on. Kevin, Julian, Justin, and myself are the only people left by now. Laced some tricks at this spot Kevin built. Afterwards we headed to New Hampshire and went to the mall than Super Walmart. In the Apple store we changed the home-page of Safari on the computers to www.thewillpower.org , good stuff. We then went and stole some cereal from Super Walmart. Head back to Kevin’s, make fun of Justin until 5AM, then sleep.
I was the only one who woke up semi-early so everyone could skate. Justin, Julian, Kevin, Jason(Kevin’s bro), and myself then go meet up with some others at the skatepark, then one handicap spot and we finally left for home at around 5PM. Overall, despite the minimum skating the trip was incredibly fun, I can’t wait until next weekend. Hope you enjoy the slideshow! Creamy beige.”

I developed a couple more rolls of film, 2 from Cali which I just picked up from the lab and I dropped them off on March 20th, 2007 haha. Really pumped because these were probably the first and last successful shots that came out of my Holga.
Ian lurking in Texas, dirty negs are the best.
Tim relaxing while we were stuck in Texas prior to us taking apart the room which you can see the the Hotel Party blog waaaaaaay back. The little circles and the number 2 was the paper backing on my 120 film that leaked onto the actual film, looks rad in my opinion. I really want to go back to Cali soon, it was really epic when we were out there really laid back.
Jarrid - True Top Acid This was shot on my Mamiya RB67, Kodak Porta 160VC, 2 544@full power I believe 1/15 f/4 or f/5.6 probably one of the few shots I’ve actually been pumped on since Tim’s backside Royale out in San Diego.
Jarrid seen here doing a sweat stance, he needs to put on a t-shirt.
Remo - Alley Oop Unity @ Shapes, not really pumped on how I shot it but whatever.
Remo doing the steeziest backside known to man.
I couldn’t really sleep this night so I pulled an all nighter drove around for about an hour or so and waited for the sun to come up and shot this.
So it’s been a while since I’ve made a decent blog, Maybe you will enjoy this one a little. I’m somewhat happyabout a few of these pictures. Bummed on all my skate stuff from woodward, but whatever. Woodward was amazing. It’s the purest form of rollerblading and fun. Every year I come back and miss it immensely. Next summer, I can’t wait. The will power tour then woodward, epic.
This is Jimmy, He’s from Florida. Jimmy kills mini ramps. He is also really fucking good at hand boarding.
This is Dustin Watson, This picture sums up what he is into…
